The Scotts are a Christian, adoptive family living outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with their dog, cat, frogs, & fish. Eric and Michele met in 1996 when they worked together as computer programmers. They married in 1998 and adopted Noah from Russia in 2005. After experiencing infertility and a difficult adoption process, they have a heart to encourage others wanting to grow their families. In 2011, they published Michele's book, Praying Through Your Adoption, and launched the PrayLoveAdopt.com website.

Michele is a freelance writer, speaker, and voiceover talent. She draws from her experiences to comfort, educate, and offer hope through books, events, articles, and the MommyForward.com blog. Michele has taught post-adoption strategies as a guest speaker for Bethany Christian Services and served as a board member for the Philadelphia Chapter of Families for Russian and Ukrainian Adoption. Portions of her family's Russian adoption experience have appeared in The One Year Life Verse Devotional, Adoptive Families magazine, and at Adoption.About.com.
